This placeholder entry describes a freestanding column prototype, cast in a round formwork and demoulded after a short curing period. The column was designed as a simple test piece for checking how the material behaves once it carries its own weight without any additional support.
Two people worked on the formwork and the pour together, alternating between mixing and placing so the material stayed workable throughout. The formwork was stripped in stages, starting from the base, once the lower section felt firm enough to hold the rest of the column.
The finished piece was left to cure fully before being moved into the workshop for photography and measurement. It now serves as a size and proportion reference for later column studies.
